23-year old American Indian male model  Derrick James Vargo knows what he wants in life.   He has pursued his dream as a male model quite successfully and as you can tell from his portfolio, he's not afraid to go all out for artistic purposes.

He is a model from Nashville, TN who hails originally from Dayton, OH.   But, that's not all he is.  According to his profile from Model Mayhem:

He is certified in Phlebotomy, CPR, AED, Electrical / Electronic Systems Technician and Auto Transmission Technician practices. He's even worked briefly as an ER medical assistant. He was previously enlisted with the United States Marine as a Squad Leader of 73 U.S. Marines, and Sharpshooter.  You will notice his tattoo on both arms, the Latin words - SEMPER FIDELIS - which is the motto of the U.S. Marine Corps.  It means, "Always Loyal" or "Always Faithful".

Quite an impressive resume I must say - and he's gorgeous!  Would you agree??

You may have noticed that I blog very infrequent these days.  It's just been too crazy for me nowadays.  With work and school, it's quite difficult to find the time and energy to create a blog post. 

Notably as well, you are probably wondering why I don't write as often as I did before.  Coming home from work after a stressful day and thinking about something to write about is as exciting as getting my eyes poked out with  a spoon.  But I know that you are all out there waiting for the next post, the next story about anything and everything that is on my mind.

I have been trying my best to continue blogging.  It's been difficult for me because time is my enemy.  When I get home, I look around the house and I know that there's laundry to be done, dishes to put away, cleaning, dusting, and every chore you can imagine.  It's tax season and I haven't even filed my taxes yet.

The only saving grace here is that I admire men like you do.  It gives me a good feeling to know that you are all out there following my blog.

I once had a comment here that gave me a good reason to continue.  Someone once said in a comment that they don't really care about the photos because gorgeous male photos are all over the web.  They really care about what I write and the stories I tell.

You are all in luck.  I think that even with my lack of time (trying to get fit for the summer as well and I've been going to the gym 3-4 times a week on top of everything), I will make an effort to write and tell you stories about what's going on with my life.

It has been a long journey with this blog and many of you have encouraged me to continue.  For that, I thank you.

Watch out for my next posts.  I do have a lot of stories to tell and do leave comments from time to time so I know that you're still out there, waiting.  :)

New Year's Resolution? Again?

Yes, we do it year-after-year-after-year.  We make resolutions.  Do any of us really fulfill our resolutions?  I'm sure some of you guys do.  I haven't made any resolutions in years.  I figured there's no point if I know I'm not going to go through with it anyway.

I remember last year when I said that I will try to work out more, eat healthier, do more things with my life.  Didn't really happen.  I did do more things with my life and have traveled to several countries this year but I failed to work out more and eat better.

But that's the fun about resolutions.  There are some that you get to keep and some that you don't.  It still helps to remind you what you want to achieve even if you do it or not.

Every time I am tempted to order a cheeseburger, I remember that I wrote "Eat healthier" on my resolutions list.   There were a few times that I opted for a salad than burger because of it.

The long-short of it all is that you should never give up.  There are things we can change in our lives and things that we can't.  The best thing we can do is try.

Wrestler Paul Donahoe

Paul Donahoe was a very talented wrestler at University of Nebraska when scandal broke.  It was found that he had posed nude on gay porn websites and was dismissed by the University back in 2009.

He said that he is straight and obviously did the stint for money.  

He said:

"Obviously, I did it for the money. We kept thinking no one would ever find out because it was a gay website and we really wanted that money. They left me a lot of messages, so I thought, 'What the heck?' People do worse for money, so... They were supposed to cover [the tattoo on his left thigh that says 'wrestling'] up but obviously they left it. Gay kids in Lincoln [Neb.] wrote, 'Hey, nice website. I saw you.' I wrote back, 'Don't tell anyone,' but with word of mouth, people found out. I believe it was unfair for Nebraska to dismiss me from the team. For one, there's plenty of athletes throughout the University of Nebraska who have had DUIs and who have been in fights and are still playing. But I guess that's OK. Posing nude, I guess, is worse than someone drinking and driving and risking someone's life, in their eyes."
