Christmas is here. Happy Holidays Y'all!

This is my tree guys! Do you see that big log in the fireplace? Haha! I don't have an axe to chop it in fours... so I just threw the whole log in and YES - it burned for hours. Oh yes, it was warm alright.

For the last four years, I put up my tree with my ex-boyfriend two weeks before Christmas. It has become a ritual after our first year. We buy presents for the dogs and each other, we put up the tree and place the gist underneath. I spent three Christmas eve with him where we opened our gifts at midnight. The dogs have their share too. We let them open their own.

This year is different. There's no Pooh. It's just me... Bu. It's kinda sad. I enjoyed Christmas mornings with him. He spoils me rotten with gifts but I don't really care much for them. I am very simple really. I am content with what I have. It's always nice to have something you don't but you feel the same when you get it. Have you ever felt that? I have. So I stopped accumulating things. I would rather have Pooh (or some kind of Pooh) here. (STOP IT! NOT POO!) :D

Anyway - happy holidays everyone! Enjoy your families, and remember not to stuff yourselves. Otherwise, I will see you at the gym January 2nd! LOL!

The holidays are upon us. What's your take on this?

I love the holidays. The holidays bring so much memories of childhood and of home. Granted, I am no longer "home" but the memories of home brings back warm feelings and comfort. I know that I can always go "home".

As time passes, we leave our so-called "home" and create our own. It's a blessing for most of us because most of us do get to buy or build our homes. Then, we make small gestures in our new home with the intention of taking a little piece of "home" we were familiar with. Sometimes, those little things create conflict but eventually it all settles down.

Have you created a "home" for yourself? Is your home a place that you want to come home to? Or is it something that you try your best to avoid? For some, it's because of reasons you don't want to discuss - - for others, it may be because it wasn't the home you thought it was going to be.

In any case, during the holidays - we should really set all that aside and go to back to the "home" that makes us feel good. A home where warmth awaits. A home where you would like to drink hot cocoa around the fireplace or the kitchen table. Bless someone this holiday. Come home.

It's over.

Yes bros! It's over. My love affair with my trainer is over. ;) No, I didn't really have a love affair. I just had a grand ole' time working out with him, hanging out and flirting. The training I had paid for *(16 sessions) is now complete. I worked my butt off to get the results that I wanted. He - on the other hand - did his part as well to get me to where I wanted to be.

I feel a lot lighter and healthier in a matter of four weeks. I lost 10 lbs and I am ready to lose 10 more. I am not going to wait for my trainer to push me - I am motivated enough now. All-in-all, I think the benefit I tried to achieve was achieved. The only thing is, I am going to suffer from withdrawal from my trainer. He has really been a good friend and motivator at that.

The emailing has stopped, the text messages ceased. That's okay. I am not paying him anymore so why should he continue to communicate with me right? Okay, I'm a little bitter but I'll get over it. Life goes on.

A special Thanksgiving celebration.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving like I had. It's a bit unusual because I normally spend Thanksgiving with my family. This year, I decided to attend a potluck dinner thrown by a good buddy of mine. Why a potluck dinner for Thanksgiving? Well, for years - my buddy's parents would throw us a party for Thanksgiving. Many of the guys I know either don't have families close by or don't have families at all whom they can go to for Thanksgiving. My buddy's parents always came through. They would gather us all and give us the venue to celebrate the holiday without our families.

My buddy's father recently became ill while they were preparing for this year's Thanksgiving party. When he was at the hospital, my buddy's mom told him that since he is ill, they should cancel this year's Thanksgiving celebration to give him enough time to rest. He said, "Definitely not! I will walk out of this hospital and we will have the party." He died a few days later.

In his memory, all of my friends who have had the pleasure of partaking holiday meals at their home decided to make this a potluck dinner. We still wanted to get together and we wanted to show them our gratitude for all those years they've hosted for us. It was a wonderful celebration and none of my friends even thought twice about it. We shared the meals everyone brought (more than plenty!) and laughed like we normally would. It was special. I'm sure he's up there smiling because that was what he wanted.

Cheers and have a great week!

The better to see you my dear...

Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical cannot be compared with any offers out there for designer eye wear. They have the best price in eye wear if you ask me. Who among the merchants out there could offer $ 8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses? Do you know of any?

The popular online eyeglasses shop
has been making news all over because of their very competitive prices in eye wear. They were even featured on Fox News just because they are the cheapest merchant you can find with reference to eye wear. Stop and think before you buy your new pair or eyeglasses. It can save you more money where you can use for other holiday shopping needs. Just think about it. There's nothing to lose.

Now - Here's a cookbook that would make you wonder...

Semen is not only nutritious, but it also has a wonderful texture and amazing cooking properties. Like fine wine and cheeses, the taste of semen is complex and dynamic. Semen is inexpensive to produce and is commonly available in many, if not most, homes and restaurants. Despite all of these positive qualities, semen remains neglected as a food. This book hopes to change that. Once you overcome any initial hesitation, you will be surprised to learn how wonderful semen is in the kitchen. Semen is an exciting ingredient that can give every dish you make an interesting twist. If you are a passionate cook and are not afraid to experiment with new ingredients - you will love this cook book!

Is this book for real? I, for one wouldn't be fighting the holiday shopping to grab one of these books. But the cookbook is real - - you can actually get your copy here.

Is there such a thing as harmless flirting?

I love to flirt. I was probably flirting the moment I was born. Is it bad? I don't know. I enjoy the attention and I enjoy the dance that goes into it. It's like a ritual - who's going to give in first? I never had the freedom to flirt with guys. I always had to hide my feelings because I wasn't out. It took me years to accept who I am and before I knew it, many years have gone by.

Even today, I am still afraid to admit that I'm gay at my workplace. I know that they know it but they are afraid to confront me. Or maybe I give out the signal that, "It's none of their business!"

I would like to be free though. Who cares right? What if I like guys? Is that so much of a big deal nowadays? Not really. I have many straight friends who is fine with it as much as the next guy. I really think I should be able to flirt if I want to.. but when is it safe to flirt? I never flirt at work - - that's a big NO NO. But I do flirt everywhere else. The problem here would be - -when people flirt back.. What do you do with it?

I've been hanging out at Facebook all week!

I couldn't help it. I'm on Facebook first thing in the morning and still on Facebook at the end of the evening. I update my status almost every four hours and I really find it fun! I've met all kinds of individuals that I wouldn't have met otherwise, and re-connected with long-lost friends I never thought I would ever talk to again! It's amazing. Are you on Facebook?! Every one and their brother are on it! I was surprised to find high school classmates there as well.

What gets me are those people with thousands and thousands of friends? Do they really know those people? Come on! It's addictive so be careful. Once you join, you will be hooked. There are lots of applications there such as giving out drinks, playing poker, building a farm and many other games you can get busy with. Just hope that it doesn't get so popular that it would be banned in your workplace. It has definitely decreased the amount of productivity for workers. No wonder it was banned in other countries. Take a peek.. you might like it! ;)
