I've been training hard. It's fun but I'm hurting.

When I decided to go under weight training, I didn't think it was going to be this difficult. Granted I've been away from the gym for some time and really consider myself out of shape. My trainer Josh, has been very kind to me though my workout last night was a killer. We did circuit training for an hour yesterday and man - I thought it will never end. The hour went by so slow as I try to make one more crunch, do one more push up or five more minutes on the elliptical. I'm so sore right now. The bonus? The after-workout stretch that he does to me. Oh man, it was the best reward I could have gotten yesterday. After that, we talked for a couple of hours. Yes! A couple of hours. On his way home, he stopped my my house as well to talk some more! He got to meet my dog and ....

It was resolved. Talking does count.

Well, now I'm back to my old self. I was finally able to resolve what put me in a bad mood yesterday. It was actually refreshing to voice out your anger. It really helps. In anything, I've always been the clam. I never speak when I'm angry. I usually keep it bottled up inside and that gets me in trouble a lot. I just find myself exploding one day for no reason.. and it's not good for your health as well. So, this experience is a growth experience for me. You can resolve things easily if you talk about it. Hiding it just makes things worse.

So, after going to the gym tonight - I sat the person down - talked about the issue and wham, it's done. No sense in holding it in. Express yourself. On that note... hope everyone is having a great week!

Ciao!

What would you do with $7.6 million dollars?

I was speaking to a colleague here at work yesterday after my meeting the the big wigs. We go to talking about her retirement and why she hasn't retired yet at the age of 62. She tells me that she would go out of her mind because she has never been out of a job ever since she started working. Then, we got to talking about Atlantic City since she is about to retire and enjoy going there as I do. Slots seems to be her favorite thing and she tells me that she enjoys the five cent machines more than the dollar machines because of the fact that there are no bonuses given on the dollar machines. Even though you sometimes spend more per bet, she enjoys it and would rather play the pennies and five cent machines rather than the dollar ones.

That got me thinking about AC as well but I really don't have any free weekend to go until October since I have my whole summer weekends are booked. It's a good thing that I can play online these days. What got me excited was one of her stories about a friend who's retired already that went with them to AC. The lady had one hundred dollars to play and since it was her birthday, she said she'll spend all of it. She was playing one of the nickel machines and she must have spent seventy five dollars already when she hit the jackpot of $7.6 million dollars. She will receive three hundred eighty five thousand dollars per year for twenty years!! I can only wish I'm that lucky!

I'm not in a good mood!

Hey, I'm entitled right?! I can't be in a good mood all the time. Things piss me off too! Something just really ticked me off today that I needed walk away. It wasn't the first and I'm sure it won't be the last. I will have to have a talk, otherwise I will explode. It's not like it's a usual occurrence but when it does happen, I tend to fume uncontrollably. I was supposed to work out with my trainer today but I had to cancel. It just wasn't going to be a great workout like I wanted it to be. Don't worry, we'll have that talk. This time - there's no joking around. Firm is firm.. and if I can't communicate being the Mister Nice Guy - - I'll surely have to be Mister Tough Guy.

Mormons Exposed - Men on a Mission coming out in September

Alright, if you are a faithful reader of this blog - you would remember the Mormons Exposed Calendar from 2008. It was a controversial calendar produced by a 6th generation Mormon family member, Chad Hardy who was excommunicated from the Mormon Church after his release of this calendar. The LDS has requested that he cease publication of the calendar yet Chad refuses to do so.
